The first Fuddruckers opened in San Antonio, Texas in 1980. Phil Romano created it, because he couldn't find a place to get a great, fresh hamburger. The first restaurant is still in existence right on Botts Lane in San Antonio. However, the Fuddruckers of today is much different than that 1980 restaurant.

If you've never eaten at a Fuddruckers - hold on to your hat! You are about to find out how and where to experience what our guests, and food critics and reviewers from across the country have dubbed the "World's Greatest Hamburger"!

On this site you'll find info about our restaurants in Detroit, Taylor, Royal Oak, Sterling Heights, Bloomfield, and coming soon Southfield...as well as our menu, events, clubs and much more!

MORE ABOUT FUDDRUCKERS

Fuddruckers operates and franchises restaurants that specialize in high quality, upscale hamburgers cooked to order, emphasizing fresh ingredients. The concept encourages guests to garnish their own entrees by providing an array of fresh produce and condiments. Each restaurant has a butcher shop which grinds beef fresh every day, and a bakery in which bread and dessert items are baked fresh daily.

Over the years the concept has evolved from beer and burgers, into a casual dining destination that focuses on families. The mainstays of our menu are still the one-half and one-third pound hamburgers. The menu has expanded to include chicken, kid's meals, salads, hot dogs, bakery goods, and various side items.
